Maybe some of you were wondering why I haven't put up any notices about the latest issue of my monthly short fiction magazine, Kilgore's Five Stories. Well, the fact is, I haven't published a new issue since July. Why? Well, my schedule as a publisher and a freelance writer cut out the time needed to write and then publish them.
So what does this mean? Basically, I've decided to relaunch in January 2022 with Issue #13. This has given me time to write stories in order to build up an inventory buffer so I won't have any more misses. This means I'm compiling stories now so I can fill up at least three or four issues ahead of schedule. Smart thinking, I know, right?
Anyway, I'm just wanted to put that out there for those who might have wondered about my little experiment. I hope to continue publishing Kilgore's Five Stories going forward. This is what will make that more possible.
