I have this propensity for obsessing too much about the details of what sort of work I need to produce and what monetary amounts are necessary ingredients in conducting business a freelance writer. Of course, money is an important thing in being a paid writer. I don't think I have to belabor that point. When you become obsessed about one aspect to the detriment of another however and there are some problems. If you expend to much time and mental energy worrying about the details of finding the work, meeting quotas, or the like, then there are some uncomfortable consequences.
