Getting Back On Track As A Writer

It's been a bit challenging lately to keep things in some semblance of order. The balance of different tasks has been difficult to maintain. In other words, I've felt overwhelmed and confused. All writers feel this way at one time or another. Even someone who prides themselves on being organized and on top of things can slip into this position, given the right set of circumstances. For me, the trouble started when I was trying to make things better. By making things better, I mean that I was trying to improve my writing productivity, while also making serious changes to how I organize my days. It's been an all-out change revolution.

Writing The Book And Beyond

For several weeks now I've been wrapped up in the world of book writing. I've been co-authoring a book that will end up being the second official title to be published by my company Founders House Publishing. At present, the book is still in process and going by a working title. I've spent my time working exclusively on this book. I've been covered over with all of the demands that tend to form any piece of longer writing - especially when you choose to work with someone else. I'm governed by not only my own expectations, but those of the other party.

Looking For Alpha (and Beta) Readers

Today's post is different than the last few. At this time, I am looking for readers to help me evaluate a novel manuscript I've been sitting on for a long time now. You see, back in about 2001, I started writing my first piece of long fiction, really the first attempt at any writing of substance. It was one of those turning points, well before the notion of working as a freelance writer entered my mind, wherein I first considered what it would be like to be a published author.
